ViVi January 2009 Deji Deji Diary Vol. 99
Three months after the "Ayumi hamasaki Asia Tour 2008 ~10 anniversary~" live in 27 Japan
cities and mobilization of over 230,000 crew members, The first Overseas Concert kicksof at
Hong Kong's Asia World Expo. Besides the majority of Hong Kong fans, tehre were some fans
from japan just to give their undying support.
01 The judgement day ~ 02 Talkin' 2 myself ~ 03 A song for xx
ayu began her concert amidst the chorusing of her fans during the opening of "Talkin' 2 myself"!
Erupting cheers from her fans soared into the sky as soon as she appears!
That instanly send the entire venue over the climax!
Besides, ayu performed "A song for XX" at her Hong Kong concert. many fans hummed along with the tune.
04 Fly High 05 Depend on you
The schoolgirl-look were in a cuter and sexier form than Japanese tour version!
Did the musical-like love story made the HK boys heart-thumping?
06 (don't) Leave me alone
Ayu was cuffed in chains and tied to this revolving disc, which rises up and being spinned around.
The presentation that resembles a horror-movie sent any fans into hysterical screaming!
07 Decision 08 My name's WOMEN
Both songs featured strong and up beat dance-moves.
Ayu being led by a group of male dancers into the center of the stage during "decision" and turned into an SM queen during "my name's WOMEN"!
The whip-slashing dance performed by Ayu musn't be missed!
09 Marionette
The surrealistic and deep "marionette" live performance truly reinstated the world shown previously in the Music Video.
Ayu and her troupe played as wired dummies and danced in a huge toy house. HK fans were enthrilled and surprised by her.
Meanwhile, there was a big change in the costumes in the HK version of her performance. During the Japan tour she used light pink butterfly knot where in the Hk concert she used rouge red.
10 Hanabi
11 End Roll
Ayu performed a sad and touching love story in "Hanabi" with a dancer who leaped from the screen onto the stage.
She also wore diffrent version of the diamond-attached dress compared to the Japan tour.
And the female dancer who mesmerized the crowd by hanging by the silk rope during "End Roll" won thunderous applause from the audience!
12 Tasking
13-14 Surreal ~evolution~ Surreal
15 Mirrorcle World
During the beginning of the "Mirrorcle World" the stage suddenly turns dark before the large "Ayu sign" covered the entire stage.
When the curtain fell onto the ground, a large ship appeared and taken everyone by surprise!
There were also some minor differences between the Asia tour and the Japan tour regarding the encore set list.
The hardest part to deal with during the MC segment was the "language barrier".
But Ayu managed to overcome it with the mix of English and Chinese and even tried to explain the dancing steps to the audience in Chinese by using phrases she have learned from "Zin", (choreographer for 'My All')
At first everyone was a bit awkward but later it became smooth with each other.
"My All" was the very last song that broke through the barriers of languages and nation border and made the entire crowd merged together.
September in Hong Kong, October in Shanghai and November in Taipei.
It was the final closure of the 10th Anniversary Asia Concert Tour at three different major cities.
Will Ayu continue to apply her enormous vitality on next year's concert?
We'll see about that.
