Ayu is one of the Nominees for one category "Billboard JAPAN Top Pop Artist 2009" along side with the other 90 artists on the list. The voting begins from 1st December 2009 ~ 31st December 2009. Billboard JAPAN Artist of the Year 2009 award will be given to the artists who has the most voting among all the categories.

Too bad that we can't vote for Ayu because it's only for Japanese viewers (actually, we can vote but i think that it's unfair for the other categories artists whom we don't really know/may not know since we should vote for all 4 categories. It'll be unfair that if we randomly choose the artists from the other categories in order to vote for Ayu.
But, let's cheer up that Ayu is on the nominees list!
