[Info+Photo] Ayu's GREEN cover by a Vietnamese singer, Vân Navy

Great, Great! Another song of Ayu that has been covered by another Vietnamese singer, it's GREEN, It's great because Ayu's well known in some parts of Asia, but to use the song and not properly credit the music arranger + composer, that's so ILLEGAL plagiarism, ya know!

Guess that this singer is a big fan of Ayu, I'm not going to say that she looks like Ayu, but some parts of her outfit just remind me of Ayu~ hmm wondering how's the live version sounded like~ may find the video on youtube.

The title of the song is "Tears of the White Dew-drop flower" which is kind of complicated haha :D

Anyway, she only wrote:
"Music: Overseas. Vietnamese lyrics: Van Navy"

Sorry, not mean to bash, I sometimes don't like artists who copy or do cover songs but don't credit properly (no offense, folks!)

  1. Even if Van Navya's version is the original arrangement, even if it uses the same Japanese lyrics, it is not illegal or a copyright infringement. It's not uncommon for other artists, domestic or international, to use similar, public, or even identical samples of other songs. I haven't heard the version you're talking about, but even if it's completely identical save for even the tiniest portion, it is (typically) considered a remix or re-arrangement and usually, the samples are credited in physical releases. Where is it shown that she released it without any sort of credit? I'd sure love to actually hear it...

  2. tAn, thanks for commenting..
and i'm so sorry that i offended you or anyone else here..

but i forgot to put up the original poster of this artist in a Forum and here's what he/she said:

"And of course there is no credit for Avex or Ayu. Just "Music: Overseas. Vietnamese lyrics: Van Navy"."

this singer is supposed to put "Music: the composer & arranger of the song" or "original from Ayumi Hamasaki, Japan", things like that~
by only put "Overseas", how are we going to know from which country she took the song, right? i mean that she should put a PROPER credit, not just putting "Overseas" who will know?

and if u want to listen to the song, here:
