[Ayu's Diary] 29.03.2010

Just a few translator's notes, since ayu's been quite vague in this entry (or maybe it's just me lol).

1. ayu makes a couple of comments about Tsuri-ko's family members: I have no idea who Tsuri-ko is. Anyway, judging from her writings and pictures, I'm guessing ayu needs to maintain a certain composure/mood when doing a photoshoot, but conversation with these people kept her laughing, hence "blowing away" and "sinking" her serious mood. Not very sure, hope someone can confirm this!
2. ayu makes several mentions of the sun setting and rising, which probably meant she did an all-nighter photoshoot. I thought it quite poetic since she has her Sunrise/Sunset single, so I translated the lines to sort of reflect that.
3. The bunny comment. This also appeared in the 23rd March entry. In both entries, she uses the word ぴょん, which can mean hop/skip/jump/you-get-the-idea. And since there's a new song in the album called "Jump!", I've been wondering if this girl is actually giving us a hint or something. So even though a cuter and more ayu-like translation of ぴょん is hop, I've decided to translate it as jump instead. ^^

I realized that I've been falling lately.

The falling doesn't mean anything depressing though! (laugh)

Nor does it mean falling asleep~!!!

No--pe, I've just been tripping and falling down, it's really so embarrassing-- (laugh)

Like when I'm boarding a mobile cart, I trip. Like, no matter how long the cart takes to move, it still seems like just 2 seconds to me. (laugh)

Somehow or other, Stan-chan thinks that I'm an alien. But aside from that, ayu's staff, which are definitely not aliens, have surely really totally worked so hard for me! And being motivated by this, I stand here today ☆
